The Resilience Centre
The Keystone Ecology renewables team were asked to scope and carry out ecology surveys to accompany a planning application for a single wind turbine development in Gloucestershire. We commenced with a combined Phase I Habitat and bat activity survey (transect and automated) before carrying out a bird reconnaissance survey, which involved combined Vantage Point and walkover survey methods.
Throughout the project we worked closely with the client to secure Natural England approval of survey effort and standard to ensure no objection would be raised at planning.
